Battlepaths Gets Upgraded To Version 1.5

If you haven’t recently hopped onto Battlepaths, the 2D-RPG with a very unique art style from Key17, than now is probably a good time to give it another go. The Windows PC version can now be updated to version 1.5, which adds a number of awesome new features that you can see below (Battlepaths Xbox update is currently in peer review and you can expect it soon).

  • New Item Type
  • New Maps
  • More Creatures and Items
  • An Improved HUD – shows important battle statistics
  • A Revised Loot-System

“The biggest addition to the game are magic stones that can be found throughout the game now. They can be used to improve your equipment in different ways, such as adding a magic enchantment onto an item. Tightly coupled with this addition is a revision of the loot-system and a change to the drop behaviour of creatures which now drop less items. Another addition is the battle info panel that automatically shows up and informs you about important battle statistics. As usual, the update also comes with new maps, new high level items, and new creatures. The level cap has been increased to 34. The update for the Xbox version is currently in peer review and will be available in the next few days.”

So be sure to give the game another go with the update and try not to get too addicted. It’s always hard to put down an RPG that lets you be a frikken’ ninja!

If you haven’t had a chance to pick up Battlepaths than head on over to the links below to get a copy for PC or Xbox (The price is one heck of a deal). Be sure to also check out Key17’s other new title, Undead Legions, because who doesn’t love slaughtering hordes of zombies?

Happy Hunting and be sure to vote for Battlepaths on its Steam Greenlight Page! I am sure the guys over at Key17 would more than appreciate it.
